1. What exactly is Photos Online?

Photos Online is a web application which has been specifically designed for photographic professionals to store digital photographs and take orders for reprints/enlargements.
Many of our customers are professional photographers who take photographs of weddings/functions and similar events and subsequently sell their images online.

2. How much does it cost?

It's £5.00 +VAT per month. Further details can be found here.

3. How do customers pay for photos bought on the site?

Customer's pay by credit card transaction in one easy process through the Paypal server.

4. Can I link to Photos Online from my existing web site?

Of course! It's as easy as a simple hyperlink from your website, and its hosted on the dedicated Photos Online server.

You can also have Photos Online fully integrated into your own site. With this option all of our branding is removed so it looks like its part of your own web site. Contact us for more details.

Alternatively, you can commission WebCom Systems to design your own web site.

5. How much server space do I get with Photos Online?

With your account you get 5 Film folders, each folder can have up to 500 images. Each image must be less than 100 Kb

6. How do I upload my photos to the Photos Online server?

Images are uploaded using a Java applet on your customer accounts upload page. The applet requires you to have the Sun Java Runtime Environment Version 1.5 installed on your PC. This is freely available from http://java.sun.com. Or you can download it from our site with this link.

This applet will allow you to upload multiple files at once in one easy operation. Contact Photos Online if you need any technical assistance with this.
